About
Karrie is a second generation Coloradoan and grew up in the small mountain town of Idaho Springs, home the of the famous Beau Jo’s Pizza, which she claims to be one of the first patrons. She married her husband who is third generation Coloradoan, and has been married for 32+ years. She lived in Colorado until 1992, her Husband & family moved to Las Vegas and that is where she got the bug. With 10+ experience in Commercial Real Estate mixed in the Residential Real Estate her experience began in Las Vegas Nevada, where she landed a job with a developer. Her first project was a 240 acre commercial/residential site located in the Northwest area of Las Vegas. This project she started out as a Construction Administrator in charge of billing, distribution of investments funds and construction draws toward the projects infrastructure. She realized that when an Agent came in and presented an offer within a few days that Agent made an $80K commission. She decided that she too wanted to get that kind of money; little did she know that would be a lot of long hours and many months before she would make that kind of money. Well it was like duck out of water – she feel in love with the real estate business. Returning to Colorado in 2004 to help out with family and then reinstating her license in 2010. Karrie’s favorite part of being a Real Estate Agent is the enjoyment that a client gets from getting the dream home. Her best asset is that she will take how ever long and as many homes to view until the client has chosen their dream home. Her best asset is that she is patient and listens to the client. She loves to do Open Houses, the best part of that is meeting all of the people who are stopping by, even if they don’t buy that house you know that they have entertained the idea to be looking for a new home, maybe not that day but sometime in the future and I have all the time in world to wait for that person to make the decision to start looking for that new home. Since 2012, I have been working with Veteran’s United Realty and Mortgage Company, and have successfully closed over 50 buyers all of whom are Veteran’s. It has been a most delightful time working with all these people and knowing that I have made a big difference in their lives, and thank you Veterans for making my world safe and sound. Her hobbies are Golf – plays with her best friend and partner husband John. Gardening which gives her time to reflect on how beautiful this world and life can be, and of course sewing, and garage sales – you can find the neatness stuff and meet the most wonderful people. In addition, she is a traveling companion to here Aunt who is 84 years old and loves to travel, they have been to London, China – and planning to another trip for 2015.
